our story

Through the years, we have always loved to host family and friends. We could not have landed on a better street to do just that.  She was the first home we looked at, the only home we made an offer on, and the home that will forever be in our hearts.  Our beloved Aunt and Uncle lived on the same street in the 70's.  When we learned this, it solidified our love for the house and our determination to live here.

 

We have spent many years adding on, updating, and making a home for our family. It would have never been possible without my dad.  He was our backbone during renovations, listening board, knowledge of all things construction, and the reason we were able to bring our dream to life.  We met neighbors that became family and built a place that welcomes all.

My beloved Aunt left us many years ago but my Uncle was able to watch us reinvent our home.  He was an amazing person and a brilliant artist.  He was an old soul, a loving husband, father, brother, son and uncle.  His artwork has never been showcased to those outside his family and friends circle.  We were in the process of planning an art showcase at a local art studio when he unexpectedly passed.  The artwork and decor in our home is a tribute to him.  We will continue to add pieces of his artwork and hope to eventually provide the option to purchase copies. Aunt Wes' House is a home where the world can see his work, one traveler at a time.
